We are so close! The kids are excited about returning to school…….I mean, I’m excited about their return! The last potluck has come and gone with the last marshmallow roast happening tonight. I’m not sure what we will do with the left over marshmallows, chocolate and grahams, but I’m sure the kids will have something to say about it!

What a great day! The wind died and the sun was shining down on us. The air has that crisp, clear feeling to it. It was warm enough for the beach, but not too hot. Thur. night potluck went off without a hitch, except for the missing rice krispy squares!!!! Ok, I had to sample!

I’ve lived along the shores of Lake Michigan for 46 years and this is only the second time I’ve seen a sturgeon swimming by. It hung around for about 30 minutes.
